3D Printer Kick-off

3D Printer Kick-off

Learn to use 3D printers at this teen-focused kickoff workshop.

The Teen Department is launching 3D printing services, and they're inviting young people to learn all about it at this introductory event. This is your chance to explore a new resource available at the library. Staff will walk you through how the equipment works, explain the rules for using it, and show you where to find or create the files you'll need to get started printing. Whether you're curious about the technology or ready to dive into a project, this session will give you the foundation you need. The event is designed for teens ages 12 to 18, and no advance sign-up is necessary—just show up. You'll spend about an hour and a half getting familiar with the basics and learning what resources are available to help you succeed. This introduction fits into the library's broader mission of helping young people develop strong information and media literacy skills that support their personal, academic, and future goals.
