Achilles Charlotte 5K & Fun Run

Join the inaugural Achilles Charlotte 5K & Fun Run, a community race celebrating inclusion and athletic achievement for people of all abilities. Hosted by Achilles International, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering athletes with physical and cognitive disabilities, this event welcomes families, walkers, runners, wheelchair users, and handcycle participants. Kids can participate free in a dedicated fun run starting at 9 AM, while adults choose between a 1-mile course ($15) or the full 5K ($35). Whether your family wants to walk, jog, or bring a stroller, there's a category for you. Everyone who registers receives a race shirt, finisher medal, post-race snacks, and access to the finish line festival featuring music and celebration. The event is beginner-friendly and stroller-accessible, making it perfect for families just starting out in running or wanting to support a meaningful cause.
