Art Exploration
Drop-in art projects for kids of all ages at Mooresville Public Library (2–4 p.m.).
Art Exploration is a drop-in craft program where kids of any age can come with a parent or caregiver to make something special to take home. The program runs from 2 to 4 p.m., so you can arrive whenever works best for your schedule. Sessions are held at either the Main or West library location.
Each week features a different hands-on art project tied to themes like dinosaurs, nature, and geology. Recent activities have included tissue paper painting, dice-designed creatures, bubble art, and clay work. On July 20th, families will make borax geodes—growing their own crystals—though this particular project requires hot water and a bit of patience. It's a wonderful way to explore creativity together without committing to a set arrival time.
