ArtBreak

ArtBreak is a free, drop-in program perfect for squeezing a little culture into your midday routine. During the lunch hour, you and your family can enjoy guided tours led by museum staff at one of Charlotte's Uptown art institutions. No tickets or advance sign-ups required—just show up and let a knowledgeable guide lead you through the galleries. The program rotates among three museums throughout the month: the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, and the Mint Museum (both locations). ArtBreak happens on alternating Thursdays, so you can plan visits to different venues.
