Artist Talk: Constellation CLT with Grace Stott

Grace Stott, a Charlotte ceramic artist, will discuss her work and creative process in conversation with the museum's chief curator. Stott creates pieces using ceramics, painting, and collage that explore meaningful themes like family heritage, motherhood, and the everyday objects we live with. Her artistic journey reflects her growth toward self-acceptance and finding happiness in life's moments. She studied at the California Institute of the Arts and Tufts University, and co-founded Goodyear Arts, a multidisciplinary artist collective in Charlotte. This free event includes two parts: a cash bar opens at 6 PM, followed by the artist talk at 6:30 PM. It's a wonderful opportunity for families interested in contemporary art, creative process, and the stories behind an artist's work.
