BOOMKACK: A Community Dance Class – Musical Theater Dance

Join BOOMKACK, an inclusive dance class that welcomes dancers of all skill levels in a supportive, non-competitive setting. This session focuses on musical theater dance—a storytelling-driven style that combines acting with jazz, ballet, and tap techniques. You'll work on character development and musicality while learning choreography from experienced instructors. The class runs for one hour and follows a structured format: a warm-up to get moving, across-the-floor exercises to build technique, and then choreography and performance work in the second half. It's free to attend and designed for ages 12 and up. You'll want to wear jazz shoes or athletic sneakers. Registration is required to participate.
