Butterfly Pinning Workshop

Get hands-on with the art and science of butterfly preservation at this interactive workshop held over two consecutive days. You'll learn the fundamentals of preparing and pinning butterflies for proper long-term care while discovering why insect collections matter for education, research, and conservation efforts. This workshop is ideal for budding collectors, nature enthusiasts, and anyone curious about insects and how we preserve them. The workshop costs $80 per person, and garden admission or a current membership is also required to participate.
