Butterfly Release Experience

Join us for a special hands-on experience at the Butterfly Bungalow, where you'll help release newly arrived butterflies into their new home. During this intimate, behind-the-scenes session, you'll sit among hundreds of free-flying butterflies and gently open protective envelopes to set each one free. It's a magical moment—some butterflies take flight immediately while others need time to stretch their wings and adjust, making each release wonderfully unique. This small-group event is limited to just 10 participants, giving everyone a chance to truly connect with the experience. Plan for about 15–20 minutes of actual releasing, with up to 30 minutes total reserved so you can savor the moment without rushing. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. The cost is $10 per person, plus garden admission or a membership. This is a wonderful activity for families who love nature and want a memorable, interactive experience.
