Butterfly Walk
Guided nature walk spotting butterflies at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.
Explore the natural world on a guided Butterfly Walk through the gardens at Daniel Stowe Conservancy. Led by an experienced volunteer and pollinator expert, you'll discover local butterfly species, learn about their habitats and life cycles, and observe these insects alongside other pollinators in their natural setting. The walk takes you through different sections of the gardens, offering chances to spot hidden gems and scenic areas while gaining insight into the plants that support these fascinating creatures.
This family-friendly experience is suitable for all ages and requires no advance registration. The walk begins at 11 a.m. at the Butterfly Bungalow patio and lasts about an hour. Garden admission or membership is required to participate—the walk itself is included with your entry fee. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for outdoor summer weather. Pets aren't permitted on the walk. If you're bringing a group of six or more, reach out to the conservancy in advance to confirm they can accommodate everyone.
