Butterfly Walk
Spot butterflies and explore nature at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.
Join a guided exploration of butterflies and pollinators at Daniel Stowe Conservancy's Gardens. Led by volunteer Keith Camburn, an experienced pollinator enthusiast, these walks introduce families to local butterfly species, their life cycles, host plants, and habitats. You'll discover different sections of the Gardens while observing butterflies and other pollinators in their natural environment. The walk runs for one hour and welcomes all ages.
To participate, you'll need either a membership or general garden admission to enter the conservancy. No pre-registration is required, though groups of six or more should contact the conservancy in advance. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for summer weather. Pets aren't permitted on the walk. Participants are asked to observe wildlife respectfully and follow Leave No Trace principles while exploring.
