Butterfly Walk

Guided walk to spot butterflies at the botanical garden.

Nature lovers and curious kids will enjoy this guided exploration of butterflies and pollinators at Daniel Stowe Conservancy's Gardens. A longtime volunteer and pollinator expert leads the walk, sharing insights about local butterfly species, their life cycles, host plants, and the ecosystems that support them. You'll stroll through different sections of the Gardens, spotting butterflies and other pollinators in their natural habitats while discovering scenic spots along the way. The walk is suitable for all ages and lasts about an hour. To join, you'll need either a Garden membership or general admission ticket—the walk itself is free with entry. Just plan to dress for summer weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Pets aren't permitted on the walk. While you don't need to register in advance, groups of six or more should contact the venue ahead of time to ensure they can be accommodated. Come ready to appreciate wildlife and follow Leave No Trace principles as you explore.
