Butterfly Walk

Butterfly Walk

Guided butterfly walk through the gardens at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

Bring your family for a guided exploration of butterflies and other pollinators at Daniel Stowe Conservancy's Gardens. Led by volunteer Keith Camburn, who's passionate about pollinators, these walks take you through different sections of the Gardens to observe local butterfly species, learn about their habitats and life cycles, and discover the host and nectar plants they depend on. The experience combines education with nature observation in a beautiful outdoor setting. The walk lasts about an hour and is suitable for all ages. You'll need comfortable walking shoes and should dress for outdoor summer weather. Note that pets aren't allowed on the walk. No pre-registration is required, but you'll need either a valid garden membership or to pay general admission to enter the Gardens and participate. If you're planning to bring a group of six or more people, reach out ahead of time to the conservancy to confirm they can accommodate your group.
