Caregiver Connections Cafe
Caregiver Connections Cafe at 138 East Black St
Looking for a supportive space to share experiences with others caring for someone with memory loss? This monthly gathering brings together adults facing similar challenges. Led by Tatanish Campbell, a Certified Dementia Practitioner with over 15 years of Alzheimer's Association volunteer experience, each session explores a different aspect of caregiving. In September, the focus is on managing stress—a crucial topic for anyone in this role. You'll have the chance to connect with fellow caregivers, learn from an experienced presenter, and enjoy light refreshments while you talk through real concerns.
Registration is required and spots are limited to 20 participants. To sign up, call the main library or register online; registration opens early September. This program is designed for adults 18 and older who are currently supporting a loved one with dementia or related memory conditions. If caregiving weighs on you and you'd benefit from practical insights and community, this cafe offers both in a welcoming, informal setting.
