Charlotte Checkers vs. Springfield Thunderbirds

The Charlotte Checkers are a professional hockey team that brings fast-paced, exciting minor-league action to the arena. Families can expect skilled athletes competing in an energetic sport with non-stop play, frequent scoring chances, and the fun atmosphere of live hockey—complete with music, mascots, and between-period entertainment. It's a great way to experience team sports in a social setting without the intensity or expense of major-league venues. Even young kids typically enjoy the speed and spectacle, though sitting through three periods requires some patience.
