Charlotte Folk Society Lending Library at South County Regional Library (ages 10+)

The Charlotte Folk Society brings their traveling collection of musical instruments to South County Regional Library once a month, and kids ages 10 and up are invited to explore and play. You'll find a wonderful variety of instruments available to try hands-on, including guitars, mandolins, fiddles, banjos, dulcimers, autoharps, harps, lap harps, cellos, and bass fiddles. A representative from the Lending Library will be on hand to help guide the experience. This is a free, drop-in event with no registration needed—just show up and let your child discover which instruments spark their curiosity. It's a great opportunity for young musicians to experiment with different sounds and styles in a relaxed library setting.
