Classics on the Rocks

Classics on the Rocks brings together book lovers who want to explore timeless literature in a fun, interactive way. Each month, the group reads and discusses a classic novel, then learns to prepare a mocktail inspired by the book. It's a chance to connect with fellow readers while trying something new in the kitchen—all while enjoying thoughtful conversation about great stories. This program is designed for adults and runs monthly throughout the year. You can pick up your copy of that month's book at the Statesville Library's front desk, or access it through the Libby app if you prefer reading digitally. Best of all, all mocktail supplies are provided free by Iredell Friends of the Library, so there's nothing to buy or bring. Registration is required due to limited seating.
