Clayworks at SouthPark Regional Library (ages 5-11)

Kids ages 5 through 11 will spend an hour working with air-dry clay under the guidance of a Clayworks artist. During the workshop, children will learn basic clay techniques—pinching, rolling, slipping, and scoring—to create their own unique project. Best of all, since the clay air-dries, kids can take their finished piece home the same day. This free program requires advance registration, which opens on July 8th at 9 a.m. When you sign up, please register only the children who will be attending. It's a great way for young artists to explore a hands-on craft activity at your local library.
