Code Club 1

Code Club 1

Kids learn to code with Scratch at Mooresville Public Library—make games & cartoons.

Is your child curious about how games and animations are made? Code Club 1 introduces children in kindergarten through sixth grade to Scratch, a beginner-friendly coding program. No prior experience needed—this program welcomes everyone, whether your child is taking their first steps into coding or already curious about how it all works. Over three months, kids will learn to create their own interactive games, cartoons, and digital projects. The club meets once a month at the Main Library location. Registration is required and opens on September 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Each child must be registered individually. When you sign up, your registration covers all three sessions in the fall block, so you're committing to the full program at once. This is a wonderful hands-on way for young learners to explore creative problem-solving and digital literacy in a structured, supportive setting.
