Coffee and Crafts: Seed Paper Making

Coffee and Crafts: Seed Paper Making

Make seed paper while sipping coffee at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

Join this monthly morning program at Daniel Stowe Conservancy for a relaxed blend of coffee, creativity, and community. You'll work on a guided craft project with all materials supplied—perfect whether you're crafting for the first time or you're already experienced. Each session happens on the third Sunday of the month at the Trailhead Store Picnic Area. Arrive a few minutes early to order your choice of fresh coffee, latte, or tea from the on-site coffee shop, then settle in to create alongside other participants in a comfortable, welcoming setting. For this July session, you'll transform old book pages into handmade seed paper by learning the papermaking process and embedding seeds throughout. Once complete, your eco-friendly creation can actually be planted to grow flowers or herbs. The whole experience runs ninety minutes and costs $25 per person. Registration is required and can be completed online.
