Dare to Read: October Teen Mystery Book Boxes

Get ready for a Halloween twist on the library's popular mystery book boxes! This October, teens can pick up a spooky-themed collection curated especially for the season. Each box includes two library books hand-picked to match your preferred scare level, plus Halloween-themed goodies and surprises to keep. Teens choose between two options: *Spooky & Atmospheric* for a milder, eerie vibe (recommended for ages 12–14), or *Midnight Thrills* for high-tension suspense and scares (recommended for ages 15–18). Only 6–7 boxes are available, so interested teens should sign up promptly through the online form. Once registered, you'll receive a notification when your box is ready for pickup. Just return the box and books when finished—everything else is yours to keep. If Halloween-themed reading isn't your style, regular non-spooky boxes will be available for November signup in October. This is a free service for library cardholders ages 12–18.
