Dino Dig
Learn what paleontologists do, then dig for treasures in a hands-on excavation.
Kids ages 9–11 will step into the world of archaeology and paleontology during this hands-on program. After learning what these scientists actually do, young diggers get to unearth their own treasures. It's a chance to experience discovery firsthand and understand how experts piece together our planet's history.
This is a drop-off program, so parents can use the hour to run errands or take a break. The group is limited to 20 participants, and registration is required. You can sign up online or call the library starting July 9. Note that the program is currently at capacity, though a waitlist is available if spots open up.
