Dino Tracks and Fossil Facts

Your child will become a junior paleontologist at this hands-on workshop! They'll dive into the world of dinosaurs while learning how fossils form and get discovered. The highlight is excavating actual skull pieces and using their detective skills to identify which dinosaur they've uncovered. This program is designed for kids ages 6–11 and requires an adult to attend alongside them. Spots fill up quickly—the workshop maxes out at 25 participants. Registration opens July 6 and can be done online or by calling the Fort Mill Library. If the session is full, you can join the waitlist. This activity taps into creative thinking and hands-on learning, making it a great way for young dino enthusiasts to explore science through discovery.
