Discovery Club

Discovery Club invites children ages 6-11 to dive into hands-on STEAM learning during weekly sessions held at the Statesville Library. Each month features a different theme, with November focused on game design—perfect for kids interested in creativity and problem-solving. Sessions run for one hour and blend educational exploration with opportunities for children to showcase their own creative thinking. Registration is straightforward: simply sign up for the number of children attending (adults don't need separate registration). Each session stands alone, so your child can explore topics that interest them most. For questions or to register, reach out to Katie Lipshultz, the library's program specialist, at 704-878-3090 ext. 3097 or by email. This is a great program for school-age children who enjoy learning through play and experimentation.
