Discovery Club

Discovery Club invites children in grades 1–5 to dive into hands-on STEAM activities at the library. Each weekly session features a different theme—from exploring animal adaptations and creating DIY crafts like solar ovens and sidewalk chalk, to building Rube Goldberg machines and tackling engineering challenges. Kids will have the chance to learn new concepts while putting their creativity to work in a fun, supportive environment. Sessions run for one hour and welcome children to attend independently (adults aren't required to stay). When you register, simply note how many children will be attending. This is a great fit for kids who enjoy experimenting, building, and discovering how things work.
