Discovery Club

Discovery Club brings science and creativity together for kids ages 6 through 11. Each session focuses on a different hands-on STEAM theme, giving children the chance to learn new concepts while tapping into their own creative problem-solving skills. October's sessions center on "Gross Biology," featuring activities like a felt frog dissection, exploring cell structures, and examining owl pellets—perfect for kids curious about how living things work. These in-person sessions run for one hour and registration is required. When you sign up, just let us know how many children will be attending; adults don't need to be registered. If you have questions about the program or want more details, you can reach out to Katie Lipshultz, the Library Program Specialist, at 704-878-3090 ext. 3097 or by email.
