Discovery Club

Discovery Club invites children ages 6-11 to dive into hands-on STEAM activities that combine learning with creativity. Each session features a different theme—from animal adaptations and DIY projects like solar ovens and sidewalk chalk to engineering challenges with Rube Goldberg machines. Kids will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through interactive stations designed to spark curiosity and let them express their creativity. This in-person program meets once a week for an hour at the Statesville Library's Youth Services Program Room. Registration is simple: just sign up for the number of children attending (adults don't need individual registrations).
