DnD For Beginners
Monthly Dungeons & Dragons sessions teaching teens the rules and character creation of 5th Edition.
Is your teen curious about fantasy adventures and tabletop gaming? This program introduces players ages 12–17 to Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition in a fun, supportive setting. Participants will learn to build their own character sheets, understand the core rules, and jump into short adventure scenarios designed for newcomers. Whether your teen is a complete novice or has always wondered what D&D is all about, this is a welcoming entry point into the hobby.
The program runs on the second and third Thursdays of each month, giving young players a chance to develop their skills over time. Sessions take place in the Teen Services area of the Youth Services program room at the library. Because space fills up quickly, registration is required—slots opened on September 17th. For questions or to sign up, contact Hannah Drum, the Teen Librarian, at 704-878-3090 ext. 8802 or via email.
