DnD For Beginners

Learn to play Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition with fellow teens at Statesville Library.

Teenagers ages 12–17 can dive into the world of tabletop role-playing at this D&D introduction series. Led by experienced facilitators, participants will learn the fundamentals of 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons, including how to build and customize their own character sheet. Over the course of each session, young players will explore the game's core rules and jump right into short adventures designed to help them practice what they've learned. Sessions meet monthly on the second and third Thursdays at the library's Teen Services area. Since space fills up quickly, advance registration is required—there are 14 spots available per session. This is a great opportunity for curious newcomers to try a popular game in a welcoming, structured environment with peers. For questions about the program, reach out to Hannah Drum, the Teen Librarian, at 704-878-3090 ext. 8802.
