Donkey Meet & Greet

Come spend time with the donkeys at Anne Springs Close Greenway! This meet and greet lets your family get up close with the animals that live in the donkey pasture. You'll have the chance to learn about them while enjoying the outdoors. The experience runs for about an hour and a half, giving kids plenty of time to interact and observe these gentle creatures. Getting there is part of the adventure. From the Dairy Barn Entrance, you'll walk past the Founders Dairy Barn along Blue Star Trail toward Steele Creek, and you'll spot the donkeys on your left before the Swinging Bridge. If you're coming from Lake Haigler Entrance instead, head toward the Greenway Gateway visitor center, turn left on Blue Star Trail, cross the Swinging Bridge, and look for the pasture up the hill on your right. After your visit, consider stopping by the Greenway Canteen for a bite to eat before heading home.
