Donkey Meet & Greet

Your family is invited to visit the donkeys grazing in their pasture at the Greenway. This is a chance for kids to see these gentle animals up close and learn about them in their natural setting. The donkey pasture is accessible via a short walk from the Dairy Barn Entrance—just head past the Founders Dairy Barn and follow Blue Star Trail toward Steele Creek. You'll find the donkeys on your left before you reach the Swinging Bridge. If you're coming from the Lake Haigler Entrance instead, walk toward the Greenway Gateway, turn left on Blue Star Trail, cross the Swinging Bridge, and look for the pasture on the right as you head uphill. This is a weekly program, so you have multiple opportunities to visit. Afterward, consider extending your visit by stopping at the Greenway Canteen for a meal or snack before heading home. It's a relaxed, outdoor experience that works well for families with children of various ages who enjoy animals and nature.
