Each outing focuses on a different environmental or conservation topic—past themes have included native plants, trail maintenance, and water quality—giving you a chance to experience familiar paths in fresh ways. The hikes are relaxed and beginner-friendly, making them perfect for families looking to combine outdoor time with learning while connecting with other nature lovers. What to bring: closed-toed shoes and a water bottle. The cost is $16 per person, with a 20% discount available for Greenway members. Kids of all ages are welcome as long as they're accompanied by an adult. This program is part of the Explorer Series, which rewards you with exclusive gear after attending at least six programs throughout the year. Hikes run rain or shine unless severe weather forces a cancellation—in which case you'll receive a full refund. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are refundable; those made with less notice are not.
