Elementary Explorers Presents: Science Heroes Digging It (West)
Hands-on science workshop exploring pressure, energy, and chemical reactions at Mooresville Public Library.
Your kids will get hands-on with some seriously cool science experiments at this interactive program. They'll explore pressure and energy using the Toilet Tornado, discover the difference between physical and chemical changes with the Disappearing Polymer, and see how angles and force work with the Hydro-Cannon. There are additional activities too, so there's plenty to keep young scientists engaged.
What makes this program special is that it's built around participation—your children won't just watch from the sidelines. They'll have chances to volunteer and help demonstrate the experiments themselves. It's designed for elementary-age kids who are curious about how the world works, whether they already love science or are just beginning to explore it. Contact Whitney Nelson at wmnelson@mooresvillenc.gov if you have questions about registration.
