Elementary Explorers (West)

Elementary Explorers is a hands-on program that invites school-age children to dig into earth science through creative activities blending art and science. Each session focuses on a different theme—from dinosaurs and earthquakes to caves, rocks, and ancient civilizations—giving kids a chance to build, create, and experiment while learning about our planet's wonders. The July 23rd session centers on the rock cycle and rock art, where children will discover how rocks transform over time and make their own artwork using rock classification patterns. This is one of several sessions running from June through July, each with its own focus. Whether your child is fascinated by prehistory, engineering challenges, or natural processes, there's something here to spark curiosity and hands-on learning.
