Fall Break Camp at the Children’s Farm
Fall Break Camp at Crandall Bowles Children's Farm—hands-on farm activities.
Your child will spend a week learning real farm skills at the Crandall Bowles Children's Farm. Campers aged 9–12 will rotate through different animal care areas each day, gaining hands-on experience feeding, grooming, and helping train the farm animals. They'll also grow a garden and discover what it takes to succeed in agriculture. The week wraps up with a Mock Animal Fair on Friday, giving campers a chance to demonstrate everything they've learned.
Camp runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday (with Friday's fair ending at 12:30 p.m.). The cost is $560, with a $100 non-refundable deposit due at registration. If your family holds a Greenway membership, you'll receive a 10% discount. Plan to send your child in weather-appropriate, closed-toe shoes (no Crocs), along with a packed lunch, snacks, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Since campers spend the entire day outdoors, keep any environmental allergies in mind. Registration is available through the Greenway's website.
