Family Farm Day: Fourth on the Farm

Celebrate Independence Day at the Crandall Bowles Children's Farm with hands-on animal interactions and patriotic fun. This special Family Farm Day lets kids get up close with alpacas, horses, cattle, goats, chickens, ducks, and pigs. You'll also find festive photo opportunities with the animals—bring your camera to capture the moment! The program runs from 9 a.m. to noon, giving families a perfect mid-morning activity. Beyond animal encounters, expect lawn games and food options from on-site vendors to keep everyone energized. Daily admission applies for non-members ages 3 and up; feed buckets are available for purchase at the welcome kiosk (though quantities are limited due to heat). Note that lead line rides won't be offered that day, and the animals take brief 15-minute rest breaks throughout the morning. After the structured activities wrap at noon, the farm stays open until 3 p.m. if you'd like to explore further on your own.
