Family Storytime at Matthews Library (ages 0-5)

Join us for a lively storytime session designed for the littlest learners and their grown-ups. Your child will experience stories, songs, and movement activities that build early reading skills while nurturing a genuine love of books. Parents and caregivers are welcome and encouraged to participate throughout the program, making it a fun bonding experience for your whole family. This free program welcomes children ages newborn through five years old. Space fills up quickly, so plan to arrive a bit early—registration opens 15 minutes before the session begins at the Train Desk. No advance sign-up required; just show up and register on-site. It's a wonderful way to introduce your young child to library storytimes and connect with other families in your community.
