Family Storytime at Mint Hill Library (ages 0-5)

Stories, songs, and movement for babies and toddlers at Mint Hill Library.

This library program brings together the youngest readers and their grown-ups for an interactive hour of stories, songs, and movement activities. It's designed to build early literacy skills while creating positive experiences around books and reading. Your child will benefit from hearing language patterns, engaging with rhythm and rhyme, and enjoying physical activities—all the building blocks for becoming a confident reader. Parents and caregivers play an important role, so plan to participate alongside your little one. The program is completely free and welcomes children from birth through age five with an accompanying adult. Spots fill quickly on a first-come, first-served basis, with room for just 25 children. You'll want to arrive early since in-person registration opens thirty minutes before the program kicks off. The session runs for half an hour and starts right on schedule, so punctuality helps everyone get the most out of the experience.
