Fishing Clinic

Bring your family for a relaxing morning by the water where kids ages 8 and up can discover the basics of fishing. All gear is provided, so there's no need to buy or bring equipment—just show up ready to learn or simply enjoy time casting a line. A staff member will be on hand throughout the session to teach fundamentals like baiting hooks, casting, and reeling, while also answering questions and offering helpful tips. No fishing license is required for this staffed program, which makes it perfect for first-timers. This event is open to all skill levels and welcomes both learners and experienced anglers looking for a laid-back community experience. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $32 per person, with a 20% discount available for Greenway members. Just remember to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle. The program runs rain or shine unless severe weather forces a cancellation, in which case you'll receive a full refund. If you need to cancel, do so more than 48 hours in advance to be eligible for a refund.
