Fossil Art

Kids ages 6–8 are invited to explore the world of fossils at the library. Your child will learn how fossils form in nature, then get hands-on by creating their own "fossils" to take home. This is a drop-off program, so you're welcome to use that time for yourself while your child participates in this creative activity. Space is limited to 20 children, so spots fill up quickly. Registration is required and opens July 8—you can sign up online or call the library at 803-547-4114. This program focuses on art, creativity, and learning through hands-on making, so it's a great fit for curious kids who enjoy getting creative.
