Fossils Reimagined: a Drawing Workshop
Draw and reimagine fossils in this creative workshop at the library.
Your teen will learn how to interpret fossils and use them as inspiration for creative artwork. During this session, participants will study the basics of reading fossil structures and then draw their own imaginative versions of ancient creatures based on skeletal features. The workshop also encourages browsing a selection of books about drawing techniques and fossil varieties, so attendees can explore the topic more deeply during the activity.
This program is designed for middle and high school students (grades 6โ12). Registration is required to participate, and spaces are limited. When you sign up, you'll receive an email with the online event link. If you have questions about accessibility needs or other accommodations, reach out to the Fairfield Area Library team at FairfieldEvents@henricolibrary.org or (804) 501-1930 x6.
