Free Guided Docent Tour

Bring the whole family for a leisurely Saturday morning exploring the gardens with a knowledgeable volunteer guide. These free tours run every Saturday from March through September and cover everything from the property's rich history to the plants, habitats, and gardens you'll encounter along the way. Just show up at the Garden Pavilion at 11 a.m.—no advance sign-up needed. Tours last about an hour and accommodate up to 20 people, with a recommended age of 5 and up. Keep in mind that while the guided tour itself is completely free, non-member guests will need to pay regular garden admission to access the grounds. It's a wonderful way to discover more about the space and get personalized insights from someone passionate about the conservancy. Check ahead for any schedule changes, as tours don't run on certain holiday weekends.
