Free Guided Docent Tour

An expert volunteer docent will walk your family through the gardens, sharing insights about the property's history, wildlife habitats, plant collections, and landscape design. It's a wonderful way to learn more about what makes this space special while getting some exercise and fresh air together. The tour is completely free to join—no advance registration needed. Just show up at the Garden Pavilion lobby at the start time and you're ready to go. Groups are kept to 20 people, so it stays manageable and personal. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome. Do keep in mind that if your family doesn't have a garden membership, you'll need to pay regular Garden Pavilion admission to participate in the tour itself.
