Free Guided Docent Tour

Bring your family for an educational stroll through the gardens with a knowledgeable volunteer guide. These docent-led tours explore the property's history, different plant habitats, and garden features while you walk at a leisurely pace. It's a wonderful way to learn something new in a relaxed, outdoor setting. The tour lasts about an hour and welcomes children ages 5 and up. Best of all, there's no registration required—just show up at the Garden Pavilion lobby at the start time and you're in. The tour is free to join, though please note that non-member guests will need to pay standard garden admission to enter the grounds. Each tour accommodates up to 20 people, so spots typically fill on a first-come basis.
