Free Guided Docent Tour

Bring your family to explore the gardens with a knowledgeable volunteer guide who shares insights about the space's history, habitats, and plants. These hour-long tours happen every Saturday morning and offer a great way to learn more about what makes the gardens special. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome, and the tours accommodate up to 20 people, so you'll get an intimate experience without huge crowds. Best of all, this guided tour is completely free—no registration needed. Just show up at the Garden Pavilion lobby at 11 a.m. on Saturday mornings. Keep in mind that if you're not a member, you'll need to pay the standard garden admission to participate. It's a wonderful way to spend a weekend morning getting outdoors and discovering something new together as a family.
