Free Musical Theatre Workshop: SHREK!

Join the SHINE Musical Theatre program for a 90-minute workshop designed to introduce young performers to the basics of musical theatre. Participants will work on character physicality, vocal expression, and comedic timing through interactive activities. The workshop culminates with learning choreography to "Freak Flag," the ensemble anthem from Shrek. This session is completely free and welcomes everyone—no prior theatre experience needed. The workshop is perfect for kids and teens ages 10–18, whether they're auditioning for the Fall 2026 production of Shrek Jr. or simply interested in building their musical theatre skills. To attend, you'll need to register online and reserve your spot ahead of time. It's a great way for your child to try something new, gain confidence on stage, and have fun in a supportive environment.
