Get Acquainted with Makerspace at SouthPark Regional Library (ages 12+)

Is your tween curious about what a makerspace can do? This introductory session at SouthPark Regional Library gives young people ages 12 and up a chance to explore the facility's equipment and capabilities. You'll have one-on-one time with experienced staff members who can walk through design basics and show how the space works, making it perfect for first-timers who want hands-on guidance before diving in on their own. During the hour-long program, participants will get an up-close look at two key tools: 3D printing and vinyl cutting. This is a free, in-person experience that gives your child a real sense of what's possible in the makerspace without any pressure or cost. Registration is required through the library's event system, so be sure to sign up ahead of time.
