Halloween Costume Swap

Give your gently used Halloween costumes a second life at this community swap event! Families are invited to bring clean, gently worn costumes and accessories in good condition to exchange with others. Items for all age groups are welcome. If you'd like to participate, drop off your donations at the Reference Desk from October 1–9, and you'll receive early entry on swap day. Those who donate items get first access to browse from 2–3 p.m., while everyone else can shop the remaining inventory from 3–4 p.m. Costumes and accessories are available on a first-come, first-served basis, making it a fun way to refresh your Halloween wardrobe without breaking the budget. This event works well for families looking to stretch their costume budget or find something different this year. Whether you're donating or just browsing, it's a great way to connect with other families in the community while keeping gently used items out of the landfill. Any unclaimed items will be kept or discarded by library staff after the event concludes.
