Homeschool Series: Nature’s Winter Survival Challenge (Grades 2 +3)
This two-hour outdoor session invites young learners to explore how plants, animals, and insects adapt when seasons change. Led by experienced Environmental Educators, children will search for clues in the landscape and investigate the ways colder temperatures, dwindling food sources, and shifting habitats affect local wildlife as fall transitions into winter. It's a hands-on mission designed to build curiosity about the natural cycles happening right around them.
The program costs $15 per child and runs for two hours. It's suited for second and third graders who enjoy being outdoors and asking questions about how nature works. Children should come ready for an active adventure and be prepared for outdoor conditions typical of early November.
