Get out on the water at Lake Haigler for paddling that fits your family's mood—whether you're looking for exercise, a peaceful afternoon, or just enjoying the scenery. You'll choose from two-hour time slots starting at 9 a.m., with the final slot beginning at 6 p.m. Reservations are required and made online or through guest services ahead of time; nothing is processed at the waterfront itself. Both kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available on a first-come, first-served basis, though paddleboard options are quite limited. Plan to arrive within 15 minutes of your selected start time. The rental costs $16 per person for a two-hour session, with a 20% discount for Greenway members. Life jackets are provided for anyone 30 pounds and heavier; families with younger children must bring their own infant PFD from home. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome to join you on the water. Keep in mind that swimming isn't permitted in the lake, and the activity runs rain or shine unless severe weather forces a cancellation. Cancellations made 48 hours ahead receive a full refund; those with less notice forfeit the fee.
