Grab a paddle and explore the calm waters of Lake Haigler with your family. Whether you're looking to stay active, unwind, or take in beautiful scenery, kayaking offers something for everyone. Time slots run in two-hour blocks starting at 9 a.m., with the final slot beginning at 6 p.m. You'll need to book your spot ahead of time through their website or by contacting guest services—no payments are processed at the water. Plan to arrive within 15 minutes of your reservation time. The rental is $16 per person (members receive a 20% discount), and life jackets are provided for anyone weighing 30 pounds or more. A few things to know before you go: kayaks and paddleboards are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and paddleboard availability is very limited. Each person—including children of any age—must have their own registration. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to join you on the water. Leave phones and valuables at home, as the facility isn't responsible for lost items and swimming to retrieve them isn't permitted. Registration for the summer season opens June 1st. The program runs rain or shine unless severe weather forces a cancellation, in which case you'll receive a full refund.
